GABIZA hand made fine sterling silver jewelry began four years ago.
During 2020, I began to design and craft my Coral sterling silver collection, which I am presenting at this time.
The earrings and pendants are carefully and individually crafted and designed by only me. Because each piece is made by hand, you may find that in one pair of earrings, the left and right earring are not exactly the same. Moreover, since they are unique, you will never find one exactly like yours. I made only one pair of each and one pendant for this collection.
The earrings and pendants are made of solid 925 sterling silver, they weight from 12 to 32 grams.
To make the sterling Coral Collection takes hundred of hours to melt, shape, clean and polish each piece. The earrings and pendants are created on my own workshop.
I had learned the craft from well known professors at the Cary Arts Center, Bibi Novoa in Ecuador, and Martha Paris from Colombia living in NC at present time. In addition I graduated from Meredith College with a bachelor degree in Arts and a
master degree in Arts from Duke University. Both degrees are crucial to my curiosity and creativity
My philosophy is to create unique and beautiful sterling silver jewelry by discovering new innovative methods. I do not enjoy repeating patterns already made by other silversmith.
If the design and craft of these earrings and pendants pleases me, I am sure it will delight you!
These beautiful earrings represent the singular corals found around the Saint Thomas Islands in the Caribbean.
